the big headline is typical summer weather expected for the next week or so. highs each day in the upper 80s and low 90s. overnight lows in the up -- upper 60s and low 70s. the difference from yesterday and today, the shower activity, the thunderstorms that developed late in the day yesterday, particularly to the south and west of the city are drifting out to sea here. that is good news. we are trying to get a drying trend established here north and west. here we are in washington. you see the clear skies out into indiana and ohio. that is an area of high pressure and that will tries to nose in here at least today. the winds have shifted out of the north and it will do its best to dry out the atmosphere. that being said, we are getting localized fog developing particularly north and west of the city. hagerstown, martinburg, winchester, reporting visibilities less than a quarter mile. frederick, 66 at this hour. 62 in martinsburg. your forecast for today, rather straightforward. code orange air quality in effect again today. i think this is our fourth or fifth
